Fulbright Legacy

 

Fulbright Award Offers Study, Teaching, and Research Abroad

In the 蜜桃影院' 60-year history, 39 alumni have received Fulbright Awards to study, teach or research abroad. Fulbrighters are valuable contributors to an exchange of knowledge, skills, ideas, and mutual understanding. The Fulbright Program was established in 1946 under legislation introduced by the late Senator J. William Fulbright of Arkansas and is sponsored by the United States Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). GERMANY - Alexandra Koch, a German and politics double major, is currently teaching English at a Catholic high school.

CZECH REPUBLIC - Catherine Blume, an English major with a French concentration, taught English at a Czech Catholic school.

GERMANY - Emily Collins, a double major in English and economics with a concentration in German, taught English in a local German seconday school.

SPAIN - Philip Wozniak, a biology major, conducted medical research in Spain in order to develop new approaches to the use of medical nanotechnology.

GERMANY - Anthony Kersting, a physics major with a German concentration, taught English in a German school and plans to join a choir.

Michaela Sobrak-Seaton

GERMANY - Sobrak-Seaton, a philosophy major, taught English to German students and perfected her own grasp of the German language.

ENGLAND - Scofield, a biology major, studied bee pollination at the University of East Anglia and earned a master's degree.
